Fit and Furry!

I see a lot of posts about exercise but since diet is equally as important I figured I'd ask. I was just wondering what people have structured for themselves, if at all, and how you go about maintaining it.

Personally, I'm in kind of a weird situation with this at the moment since I'm staying in a hotel that includes breakfast and dinner. I can't really keep track of calories because of this, but here's what I've set-up:

Breakfast: I don't eat any of the bad stuff like eggs, sausage, cheese, etc. I'll usually just have a bowl of oatmeal and milk since this is usually all they have that is healthy >.< 2 packages + milk is probably 500-600 calories and I usually have some fruit with it

Lunch: I'll just buy one of those frozen Stouffer's things from Walgreens across the street. About 350 calories.

I then walk and work-out, then eat whatever they make for dinner. Usually a meat, carb and vegetable. Pretty balanced. Also have a soup or salad (though I'm probably going to cut out the dressing and use vinegar or something that's not all fat).

Also, something I've noticed when people diet is they won't eat the foods they want and then when they splurge they figure they've ruined it and give up. This is not the case -- I will splurge once a week or so and for dinner eat whatever I want. It's not about giving these things up -- it's about doing them in moderation ;)

Anyone else?

I don't think eggs are bad. If you make them yourself, you should remove 2/3rds of the yolks, since that's where the fat is stored. I eat a lot of fresh fruits and veggi's. Also, ground turkey for protein since I don't eat mammals. (monkeys, cats, dogs, pigs, humans, cows, rabbits, whales etc..) Still a predator dammit. Ostriches can be hard to bring down. I don't live on a hotel, so I cook for myself.

Looks like we're the only two people who eat, maybe everyone else relies on photosynthesis.
