Fit and Furry!
Sorry to not be at all active here. I haven't been that motivated to diet until now! I am going to start off by posting my current weight and goals and see how I go from there.
Current wieght: 12st 2lbs (170lbs)
Apparently the ideal weight for my height is between 9st and 12st so I am at the very top end of that.
Goal wieght: 11st (154lbs)
A lot of people say that I do not look 12st and that I carry it well, and so because of that I do not want to go all the way down to 9st, as I think I'll look much too thin.
So I am looking to lose about 16lbs, but I would be happy to loose 9lbs at the very least, as this had been my weight for quite a while before I shot up to 12st (I blame pizza :P).
I will post my progress as I go ^_^

here are just a few:
Water. Make friends with it - it's great for burning fat and highly refreshing!
Food: don't think to lose weight you have to eat less. WRONG. Try and eat around SIX small meals a day, each made up of mainly of either fruits or vegetables and try and have a bit of protein at least twice a day (eggs, chicken, bacon (rindless) are all yummy choices :) If you can't live without red meat beef is your best option).
Pasta and bread - wave bye bye to these. These foods are full of carbs and as most exercise burns off carbs rather than fat tissue primarily, it's best to try and avoid carbs if possible.
Exercise - don't feel you need to take out a gym membership! Try and walk for 20-30 mins a day if you an, load up an mp3 or cd player with some of your favourites tunes and go for a walk round the block. If you can, have an alarm set once 30 mins is up so you know you've done 30 minutes worth :)
DON'T EXPECT RESULTS OVERNIGHT!!! high expectations will no doubt cause disappointment, don't have a weekly goal - just eat right and exercise and then (on a chosen day each week) weigh yourself and make a note of it :)
You can't be on a diet every day of your life -allow yourself the occasional cake or biscuit, hell even a slice of pizza if you desire! It's unrealistic to think you can constantly be on a diet and the stricter you are with yourself, the more likely you are to stumble - I'm not saying eat a whole Domino's or anything like that, if you eat treats be sensible about it :)

Good thing I love water hehe :D I think I will find it hard not to eat pasta and bread, especially because it comes so cheap and is an easy meal xD But I will have to try :)
